Changes in English Requirements

The Australian Department of Home Affairs has recently updated its English language requirements for certain visa types. These changes, part of the broader Migration Strategy, impact both Student and Temporary Graduate visas, with increased minimum scores required for various tests.

On 7 August 2025, the Australian Department of Home Affairs changed the English language tests approved for Australian visa purposes as well as the proficiency levels required.

If however, you completed a test before this date, your results may still be valid for up to 3 years. This will depend on the visa for which you wish to apply.
